I am so glad my family recommend this dishwasher after my Samsung bit it. I did not know clean dishes until I used it. It is super quiet and I love the top rack for items too tall for the other two like spatulas and such. The communication from Bosch is great too with tips on maintenance. The light at the bottom tells you when it is in service because you might not know due to the quietness of the appliance. It indicates clean when you open the door so that if you do not empty it right away you know the status of the dishes. I am clearly a fan.

Favorite Dishwasher I Ever Bought!

This dishwasher has so many wonderful attributes. Here's the top three. First, it's the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. Amazingly quiet! Second, it cleans dishes thoroughly. Third, you can fit a lot of dishes in it. I use the top rack all of the time for lids and kitchen utensils. This dishwasher is worth every penny!

Well after waiting a short period of time because of the supply chain issue, I received my unit. Well it is well worth the money and wait time. Great dishwasher, bad odor

This dishwasher works great but has one BIG problem. There is a very strong chemical smell when the cycle is complete. I've had this now for months and it is still there. I contacted Bosch and they tried to send people out to look at it, but it always kept getting rescheduled or cancelled. The chemical odor is really bad, like burning plastic but I cannot see anything that looks burnt or melted.

Took forever to receive, worth the wait

Through backorders, a leaking drum, reordering, and back order again, we finally have our Bosch dishwasher. It took almost 2 years. The wait was worth it. It washes baked on lasagna, stuck on saute pans, and peanut butter off a knife. I do absolutely no pre-rinsing. I only scrape excess food into the trash, then load the dirty dish in the washer. No pre soaking pans at all. Almost everything comes out clean. The only exception is glasses. They sometimes get a gritty film. I've been able to reduce that happening by cleaning the filter weekly and using the sanitize and extra scrub option. It's very quiet. Can almost never tell if it's running except for the light indicator. And the dishes come out completely dry with no water spots. All in all - I love it. Would buy it again - if I could guarantee it wouldn't take two years to get it!

broke exactly 1 month after warranty expired

used this high-end dishwasher without any issues for 13 months, now it looks like the filling system is broken. Bosch agreed to cover it under warranty, however no Bosch mechanics are available for over a month and no outside mechanics will take take the job. very unhelpful, now we will have to wait and hand-wash until someone is willing to repair the dishwasher.

Our $450 dishwasher broke after just 8 years, and I knew it would be at least $150 to fix, and that's if I was able to do it myself. It didn't seem worth it and I wanted to invest in a better dishwasher this time, one that would feel disposable. After reading reviews, most of the ones I was interested in didn't have very good drying. This one works great. There is only water left if something is put in flat and it pools on top, everything else is completely dry as soon as the cycle is over. I used to have to wait overnight with my other dishwasher and plastics were never dry. I love the top rack for silverware. I never have to worry about them being too close to get clean whereas my old machine I always had to check them. I put it on auto clean and it cleans well every time. My old machine I had to put on extra scrub and still carefully check the dishes. It is very solid compared to my old one, but I did have to get the power supply moved to an adjacent cabinet (hardwired) and the water supply moved because the old one was a copper pipe directly under the washer. It was worth it. I don't like the stainless as much as the stainless on my fingerprint resistant fridge. I got the Bosch stainless steel polish but it looks streaky whereas my fridge can just be wiped down with water and looks perfect.

I was so disappointed to not to be able to receive a users manual. It is much easier for me to look up the info in a manual than trying to maneuver the computer which always leads to frustration . Please have some user manuals available for those of us who don't do well with computers. I would have seriously reconsidered getting a Bosch if I was aware there was no paper manual.

The dishwasher is doing a good job once one figures out how to run it which is way to difficult for an old person and you not supplying it with a manual is totally unacceptable because not everybody has a computer to download it. I have spend an insane amount of time trying to figure out how to run it and I would not buy a Bosch again for that reason alone. Why make it so hard? And having it to turn off every time after a load, is dumb too. I am used to open the door while being turned on automatically, loading the dishes, selecting the cyrcle and pushing the start botton. For the Bosch one literally needs a "running the dishwasher degree" and at age 79, this is just too much. Make it easier to run and sell it with a manual.

Poor design for the cost of appliance

You would think that the high cost that Bosch charges for this appliance that they would include a brass water hook up on their machines instead of plastic. Also cant see what cyle the diswasher is on because the buttons are on the top of the door so that when it is closed you can't see anything. Buttons are okay on the top if they had a front display panel. Not worth the cost.

The dishwasher sometimes leaks water from the left side of the door. I have never had such issues with any other dishwashers in the past. Getting to support requires over 45 min of wait time on the line. Otherwise, a decent dishwasher, quiet and cleans well. Sometimes fails to wash and shows a blinking red light without telling us what the problem is, works fine after a restart.

Despite being extremely quiet, the bottom basket isn't working after 6 months of use. it falls off the path it is supposed to be on. it was installed in February/March and having problems by the summer. The tech came to look at it in september, ordered a part and it still hasn't showed up.
